Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern the cleaning services provided by RUBADUBSCRUB (ABN 00 000 000 000) ("we", "us", "our") to you ("the client"). By booking our services you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law(Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)).
1. Services
We provide residential and commercial cleaning services across southeast Queensland and the Gold Coast, including home cleaning, office cleaning, regular and one-off cleans, spring cleaning, window cleaning, oven cleaning, bond (end-of-lease) cleaning and holiday cleaning. The scope of each job is agreed with you in advance.
2. Quotes & pricing
- Quotes are based on the information you provide and the condition of the premises.
- If conditions differ materially on arrival, we may adjust the quote after discussing it with you.
- All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
3. Bookings, cancellations & access
- Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a booking.
- You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the premises at the agreed time.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or lock-outs on arrival, may incur a fee.
4. Consumer guarantees & our satisfaction guarantee
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a remedy for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. In addition, we offer a satisfaction guarantee: if you are not satisfied with a clean, notify us within 48 hours and we will return to re-clean the relevant areas at no extra charge.
5. Bond / end-of-lease cleans
While we clean to typical agent and property-manager checklists, the return of your bond is determined by your agent or landlord and is not guaranteed by us. Where a re-clean is required for items within our agreed scope, please notify us within 72 hours of the clean.
6. Liability
We are fully insured and take care in your home or office. To the extent permitted by law, and subject to the consumer guarantees above, our liability for any claim is limited to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having the service re-supplied. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or items that are not reasonably accessible.
7. Payment
Payment is due as set out in your quote or invoice. We accept the payment methods specified at the time of booking.
8. Health, safety & products
We use professional cleaning products and follow safe work practices. Safety Data Sheets for the products we use are available via our Safety Data Sheets hub. Please advise us of any allergies, sensitivities or product preferences before your clean.
9. Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
